Luis Enrique: ‘The perfect time’ – Is now the moment for Spaniard to make Premier League move to Chelsea?

Chelsea are reportedly interested in hiring former Barcelona and Spain manager Luis Enrique, with some reports suggesting that Julian Nagelsmann might prefer to wait until the end of the season. Enrique has a stellar CV both as a player and a manager. He played for both Barcelona and Real Madrid and went on to manage the Catalans with the 2015 treble-winning team in the conversation for one of the best club sides of the century.

“That finally ended up weighing on him in the Spanish national team, since the press exerted a lot of pressure on Enrique and on the players he took to the Spanish national team. “He was blamed on several occasions for not taking players from Real Madrid or La Liga's top scorer, and yet he did take players who were barely having minutes at Barcelona.” He went on to talk more about the relationship between Enrique and the media, saying that the manager didn’t always like it when his decisions were being questioned. “Luis Enrique has never had an easy relationship with the press, not with the Spanish national team nor previously at Barcelona.
