A number of Liverpool supporters have mocked Tottenham after a fresh update emerged regarding the Reds’ imminent signing of Luis Diaz.

An exciting transfer rumour emerged on Friday, with Liverpool reportedly on the verge of snapping up the Porto winger in a big-money deal.

While the move isn’t yet completed, a medical is expected to take place in South America over the weekend before Diaz officially becomes a Reds player (Neil Jones).

Tottenham had also been strongly linked with a move for the 25-year-old but Jurgen Klopp’s men have pounced from under their noses, no doubt acting as a big blow to Antonio Conte.

And, according to a transfer update from Duncan Castles [via Anfield Watch on Twitter], Spurs are angry that news of their interest in Diaz leaked, allowing Liverpool to gain knowledge of the situation.
