Love Island star Tasha Ghouri is flooded with compliments as she makes 'first ever' career announcement

Love Island star Tasha Ghouri has announced the release of her 'first ever' book. Taking to Instagram to tell fans the news, she posed in a black and white picture with a paper copy of her novel, clipped together.

The 25-year-old shot to fame after appearing in series eight of the popular dating show and was praised for her bravery early on in the series after she opened up about being born deaf. She told fellow Islanders how she had a cochlear implant fitted at five-years-old, and had years of speech therapy.

Announcing the release of her first fictional book, Tasha reveals that the main character is deaf. She told fans: "I’m sooo excited to introduce HITS DIFFERENT – my first ever book, written with the amazing @littlehux! It’s a gorgeous summery romance about Cassie, a deaf dancer who jets off for a hot summer in Ibiza this is a story about finding self-love and falling in love which is really based on my own personal experiences and Cassie has characteristics of me! so it’s super special and I can’t wait to share it with you all!
