Love Island contestant Scott Thomas has reportedly quit the All Stars villa following the latest recoupling on the ITV show.

The 36-year-old is said to have decided to leave the after struggling to develop a romance. His doubts over Tina Stinnes, 29, are said to have continued to grow recently and, despite matching once again in the recoupling, he reportedly thought it was best to call time on the situation - the Mirror reports.

In recent weeks, Scott and Tina had grown close - after first meeting on Love Island years ago. However, Scott has expressed doubts about their relationship.

Scott is reported to have decided to leave as he did not want to waste Tina's time or 'force' a connection.

Speaking to the Sun newspaper, a source said: "After taking some time out with the dedicated Love Island welfare team, Scott decided that the best thing he could do for himself was to remove himself from the situation. He's done so much work over recent years on self-love and he didn't want to force a connection for the sake of it."

The source added that since it came to light through the game that Scott was uncertain about a romance with Tina, he has "struggled to feel free" in the situation and "push past his doubts". They said that on Friday night's show fans will see him continue to deal with the situation before a recoupling.

It's claimed by the source that Scott was "unable" to move past the feeling that Tina "wasn't right for him". They added that his "biggest priority" was not "wasting her precious time" in the villa. They said that he knows it's a "big opportunity" for her and wouldn't want to "ruin" that.
