Love Island's Davide Sanclimenti to host speed dating event in Greater Manchester

Manchester singletons can get relationship advice from Love Island winner Davide Sanclimenti during a speed dating session this June.

The TV star, who won the ITV dating show last summer with partner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, is hosting two speed dating events, one in London on June 8 and the other at MediaCity in Salford on June 15. Posting to Instagram, Davide, 27, said he wanted to help people find 'the one' before summer begins.

Taking place at Prezzo, tickets cost £10 and include food and a welcome drink. The Italian restaurant holds sentimental value and is the location Davide, from Rome, chose to ask Ekin-Su to move in with him - with the help of some 'iconic' tiramisu.

Manchester's event starts at 7pm and is scheduled to finish at 9pm. The evening will begin with a drink and the chance to mingle, and of course the opportunity to pick Davide's brain on all things love and dating.

Next will be the speed dating rounds, with each session lasting up to 10 minutes. To keep track of your dates, you'll be provided with a scorecard. There will also be breaks for more food, drinks and chat as the night goes on.

After the speed dating rounds are over, if you find your match, you’ll be encouraged to exchange details so you can set-up date number two.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday May 31, Davide said: "#ad You all know my love for Italian food, so I’m very excited to reveal that I am partnering with @love_prezzo again this year to help YOU find ‘the one’ ahead of summer.

"As a go-to date spot (and even the restaurant I chose to ask Ekin-Su to move in with me with a little help from a tasty Italian tiramisu…IYKYK), I’ll be hosting two speed dating events
