Love is Blind fans slam Netflix after live reunion cancelled due to technical issues
Love is Blind fans have slammed Netflix after the live reunion was cancelled due to technical issues. The special edition of the hit dating show was scheduled to stream live globally at 1am BST on Monday (April 17).
But after a series of unexplained delays to its start time, the streaming giant cancelled the livestream at 2.30am and said the show would be pre-recorded instead. Some viewers in the US were able to watch the episode around 75 minutes after it was due to start, but most were met with an error message that read: “There’s an issue with the livestream”.
In a tweet posted at 2.29am, Netflix said: “To everyone who stayed up late, woke up early, gave up their Sunday afternoon… we are incredibly sorry that the Love is Blind Live Reunion did not turn out as we had planned. We're filming it now and we'll have it on Netflix as soon as humanly possible. Again, thank you and sorry.”

Netflix later confirmed the Love is Blind reunion show will be available to stream from 8pm in the UK. No explanation has been given for the delay but host Vanessa Lachey indicated it was a technical error in a live video on Instagram, BBC reported.
In the video – which has since circulated on Twitter – Lachey said: “Apparently everybody broke the internet to see this reunion.”
