Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Breiden Fehoko had a brilliant reaction to seeing his dad on the jumbotron during their recent preseason game. 

When parents get involved in their kids sports, there are a number of ways that they can go. Take for example the Williams sisters in tennis, would they have been the same athletes that they are today were it not for the work that their father Richard put in to help them get there?

Then you have the kind of parents that help shape the legacy of the child because they were great athletes themselves, such as Peter and his son Kasper Schmeichel in soccer, Ken Griffey and Ken Griffey Jr in baseball, or Archie Manning with his sons Peyton and Eli in American Football.

Then you have the embarrassing parent type. And whilst most of that is kept to stuff that is done at amateur level, there are a few occasions where the parent might be taking the spotlight away from what their child is doing with their own antics.
