Los Angeles Rams' Aaron Donald addresses controversial Cincinnati Bengals fight

Los Angeles Rams star Aaron Donald has addressed the recent controversial video that emerged of him during a recent joint-practice session. 

There can be no argument that Aaron Donald has established himself as arguably the greatest defender that has ever played the sport. 

Since entering the league in 2014 when the then-St Louis Rams, he has 441 combined tackles, 226 QB hits, 150 tackles for loss and 98 sacks which have turned into 8 Pro Bowl appearances, 7 First-team All-Pro honours and 3 NFL Defensive Player of the Year awards, and finally managed to win that long-awaited, and well-deserved Super Bowl this past season.

And to play in the defensive side of the ball, especially when you are as undersized as Donald is, with his NFL.com profile listing him at just 6’1 and 280lbs whilst most offensive linemen he’ll go up against will be roughly 3-4 inches taller and more than 20lbs heavier than him, you need to have an aggressive streak in you in order to dominate the way he has.

Although that aggressive side can sometimes come out at times you don’t want it to. 

Donald made news for his play away from the playing field recently, as footage emerged of him getting involved in a serious altercation with members of the Cincinnati Bengals during a recent joint-practice session, in which he could be seen swinging two helmets at his opponents:

The footage brought back images of Cleveland Browns defender Myles Garett swinging his helmet at Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph, something that earned him an indefinite suspension from the league (which ultimately ended up being six games), with talk coming out after suggesting that Donald could face similar punishment.
