Livingston new signing hailed as perfect signing at the perfect time for Lions

Livingston boss David Martindale believes new signing Danny Lloyd was the perfect player at the perfect time for the Lions.

The versatile 31-year-old penned a short-term deal on Tuesday following a successful trial period - with the club having an option to extend.

Lloyd, who counts Rochdale and Gillingham amongst his former clubs, was recommended to the club by current striker Kurtis Guthrie.
