Aston Villa and West Ham have been put on red alert with Liverpool ready to sell Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, 28, has one year left on his current deal at Anfield and Liverpool will listen to offers for the England international. Villa boss Steven Gerrard is a long term admirer for the versatile midfielder who has 35 caps for England and still has a long career in front of him.
Gerrard wants to strengthen his squad this summer while West Ham are also in a similar situation with David Moyes looking to add quality and depth. West Ham have clinched a place back in Europe again and may have money to spend with Liverpool likely to ask in excess of £10m for the former Arsenal midfielder.
Oxlade-Chamberlain remains hugely popular at Liverpool with Jurgen Klopp praising his attitude in recent weeks despite not giving him minutes during the Premier League run-in. He had the opportunity to move in January with Newcastle very keen to sign him either on loan or as a permanent deal when Eddie Howe was keen to strengthen his squad.
