Liverpool full-back Kostas Tsimikas has reportedly been warned by the club over his conduct following the Carabao Cup win against Chelsea on Sunday.

The defender is said to have expressed his regret after he was involved in an incident as the club's players received their winners' medals in the Royal Box after a tense penalty shootout victory.

It comes as teammate Andy Robertson sent a dressing room jibe to captain Jordan Henderson following the tense penalty win at Wembley.

And the club have also apologised for the conduct of another player following Sunday's game.

Liverpool have been forced to apologies for the conduct of penalty shootout hero Caoimhin Kelleher following the club's Carabao Cup win.

Kelleher netted what would prove to be the winning penalty after 21 of 22 efforts were dispatched perfectly before Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga blazed his effort high over the crossbar.

The miss led to wild scenes of celebration from Liverpool players, staff and fans – although it appears Kelleher got a little carried away.

In an interview following the game, the Reds shotstopper made a massive faux pas for which his club have now had to issue an apology over.
