Everton are in big trouble following their 3-2 defeat to Burnley in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

That’s how long it’s been since Everton last won a trophy – the Community Shield in 1995.

And after research from the Mirror, that means Everton have gone longer than any Premier League or Championship club since they last won a trophy.

A trophy counts league titles, domestic or European trophies and play-off final victories. Being promoted after finishing second or third doesn’t count.

To make matters worse for Everton fans, Liverpool are the latest side to have won a trophy – and they still have three more to play for this season!
