Liverpool make Harvey Elliott decision after Watford absence
Harvey Elliott is in action for Liverpool’s under-23s this afternoon as they take on Chelsea in Premier League 2.
The 18-year-old wasn’t named in Jurgen Klopp’s squad to face Watford at Anfield, but he’s getting some much-needed minutes with Barry Lewtas’ side.
Elliott played 64 minutes of Liverpool’s FA Cup quarter-final clash against Nottingham Forest before the international break, but hasn’t featured in the league since the 2-0 win over Leicester back in February.
The youngster was awarded some minutes for England’s under-21 side as he played the full 90 minutes as they beat Andorra 4-1 in their European Championship qualifying group. He was, however, restricted to the bench for their game against Albania earlier this week.
