Liverpool defender Sepp van den Berg has explained how there’s a “big difference” in his game since he’s been on loan at Preston North End.
The young Reds centre-back has been on loan with the Championship club since February last year when he left Anfield on loan for the second half of last season.
Van de Berg returned to Preston in the summer to spend the full campaign on loan with the Lilywhites, and has gone on to become a key player for the club.
The Dutchman, traditionally a centre-back, has been utilised in a wing-back role on multiple occasions.
Reflecting on his time at Preston, Van den Berg has admitted that he has noticed a significant change in his game since he first moved to Deepdale in February last year.
“It’s a big difference,” Van den Berg told Preston’s club website . “I know it’s a bit of a cliché but even if I look back at some clips from the first games, it’s just a big difference.
