Liverpool can solve Sadio Mane transfer problem by signing Jurgen Klopp's 'best player'

There are so many reasons why Liverpool don't want to lose Sadio Mane.

The Senegal international, 30, has enjoyed perhaps his best ever season - inspiring his country to victory in the Africa Cup of Nations final and qualification for this year's World Cup. He also helped the Reds win the FA Cup and EFL Cup, scoring 23 goals at club level.

Barcelona are leading the race for the Poland international, who has only one year left on his existing deal - just like Mane. Yet Liverpool should make a move for Lewandowski and propose a swap deal with Bayern for Mane... if they can't persuade him to stay.

Despite his advancing years, there's no questioning Lewandowski's goalscoring ability. The two-time FIFA Player of the Year
