Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has a history of FFP complaints against Manchester City

Liverpool and Manchester City are preparing to do battle in the Premier League one final time with Jurgen Klopp as the home team's manager when they meet on Sunday afternoon.

The clash at Anfield is expected to be huge in the context of both teams' campaigns, as just a solitary point separates them at the top of the table. A victory for either side shall cement them as favourites for the Premier League and leave a mountain for the opposition to climb.

We are set to hear from both managers today as they speak to the press about what is to come this weekend. For Klopp, he has often taken his opportunity to attack City for their financial state with the alleged 115 charges hanging over the Blues doing little to stem his complaints.

After City's ban from European competitions was overturned, Klopp was keen not to mince his words about the topic. "I am happy that City can play in the Champions League but I don't think it was a good day for football yesterday, to be honest," he said.

"Just because I think FFP is a good idea. It's there for protecting teams, protecting the competition.

"That was the idea at the start, that nobody overspends and stuff like this. Clubs have to make sure that money they want to spend is based on the right sources."
