Liverpool will celebrate their successful season with a victory parade through the city in late May - even if they fall short in the Premier League and the Champions League.
The Reds have already claimed two major honours this season by defeating Chelsea on penalties in February's EFL Cup final and the FA Cup final on Saturday. Remarkably, they may yet double their trophy haul as an unprecedented quadruple is still a possibility.
Standing in-between Liverpool and a historic achievement are Manchester City and Real Madrid. City will need to drop points against Aston Villa for Jurgen Klopp's side to have any chance of winning the top flight on Sunday, six days before their European showdown with Los Blancos at the Stade de France.
Preparations for a parade to recognise a brilliant campaign have been underway for some weeks and the club have decided to press forward with plans. A team bus will begin to travel through the city streets at 4pm on Sunday May 29, the day after the Champions League
