LIVE updates: Large police cordon in place after serious motorcycle crash on major Greater Manchester road
Police have cordoned off a Greater Manchester Road following a serious motorcycle crash that took place late this afternoon (Sunday, February 11).
Manchester Road in Castleton has a cordon in place and multiple police vehicles on the scene after the crash, with debris still strewn across the road from the earlier incident.
The crash happened at around 4.20pm on the route which runs just south of the M62 and the cordon remains in place this evening.
Greater Manchester Police have been approached for comment.

Images from the scene show debris strewn over the road and some vehicles stuck behind the cordon.
Reporter Paige Oldfield says the vehicle owners have been told they will not be able to retrieve their vehicles until later this evening.
