Live updates as vehicle fire on M4 causes long delays and lane closures near Cardiff

The M4 is currently experiencing severe delays due to a vehicle fire. The incident is causing long delays at the start of the rush hour traffic peak.

The M4 westbound has long delays and one lane closed between Junction 30 (Cardiff Gate) and Junction 32 (Coryton Interchange) due to a vehicle fire. Earlier this evening there was also a broken down vehicle on the eastbound carriageway, in the exact same location, but this has now been cleared.
