Live updates as Talbot Green incident sees two police officers injured after 'disturbance'

A massive police presence has been reported in Talbot Green, after emergency services responded to a 'disturbance' outside the Talbot Green Police station.

South Wales Police has confirmed that they were alerted to reports of a man causing a disturbance outside the Talbot Green Police station in Rhondda Cynon Taf at 7pm. Read the biggest stories in Wales first by signing up to our daily newsletter here

Police have also confirmed that two officers have been injured as a result of the incident, and are currently being treated by paramedics. One man has been arrested by police, but investigations are currently ongoing. South Wales Police have asked people to avoid the area.
