Live updates as 'severe delays' follow collision on A470 near Treforest fire with all traffic at a stop

There are "severe delays" after a collision on the A470 near the site of the fire in Treforest Industrial Estate, with both lanes closed and traffic held

Traffic monitoring service Inrix says the accident happened on the A470 Northbound before the A4054 Cardiff Road (Glyntaff Interchange) and there is congestion to the Upper Boat Interchange.

The crash has exacerbated existing congestion on the A470 after the fire on Wednesday night, with three roads in the area still closed today.
