LIVE updates as police surround forensic tent in Manchester city centre

Police are patrolling one of the busiest city centre streets this morning (July 11) as an area is taped off.

A police car and an office have been pictured guarding a police cordon on Market Street.

The taped off area includes the Costa coffee shop on the major high street.

A blue police tent has been erected at the scene.
