Live updates as person hit by train in Cardiff and emergency services at scene
A person has been hit by a train in the Cardiff area. While emergency services worked at the scene all lines were closed for a time.
Lines re-opened around 8.15am, but there was a warning of continuing disruption.
National Rail said that services between Radyr and Cardiff Queen Street may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until 9am.
Services between Merthyr Tydfil and Bridgend and Barry Island and between Aberdare and Cardiff Central / Barry Island and also between Radyr and Coryton and Cardiff Central are affected.
