Live updates as huge tailbacks near M4 in Cardiff

Traffic is being held on a major route into Cardiff this evening due to an ongoing "police incident". The A470 Northern Avenue at the Coryton interchange has been closed to traffic while police work to clear the road.

According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, congestion is building to the A470 in both directions due to tailbacks on the roundabout.

Some stuck in traffic have said it's "chaos" as people try and negotiate the roundabout onto the M4.
