Live updates as flooding shut part of one of Swansea's busiest roads

Police were warning that one of Swansea's busiest roads was affected by flooding on Thursday morning..

South Wales Police said Fabian Way was closed outbound from McDonalds. It was shut in the early hours but had re-opened by just after 7am.

A number of weather warnings have been issued as wet weather continues over the coming days for many, before conditions turn colder later in the week. Rain is moving northeast across England and Wales today, becoming heavy and potentially disruptive.

A yellow warning for a large part of Wales started at 6am on Thursday and runs into Friday morning. There are more details of that here.
