Live updates as crash closes A465 in both directions
A main road has been closed in both directions following a crash. Emergency services are currently at the scene of the incident on the A465 between Rhymney and Merthyr Tydfil.
Gwent Police has advised motorists to avoid the area and use an alternative route. The incident happened at around 7.30pm and it is understood that an air ambulance has landed near the scene.
