Live updates after 'serious incident' shut main Cardiff road

South Wales Police are at the scene of a serious incident on Newport Rd, Rumney, Cardiff in the vicinity of Rumney Police Station. The road was closed in both directions for around an hour. It has now reopened.

Police officers are asking people to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible.
