LIVE: Road in Manchester closed at busy junction after crash - latest updates

A road in north Manchester is closed off at a busy junction this morning after a crash.

Rochdale Road is currently shut at the junction with Queens Road in the Monsall area, according to Transport for Greater Manchester. There is heavy traffic in the area around the incident.

Drivers are being urged to take a different route. Some bus services are also being diverted.

In a tweet, TfGM said: "ROAD CLOSED. A664 Rochdale Road / Queens Road.

"This is due to road traffic collision. Please seek an alternative route.

"Local bus services @StagecoachGM @FirstManchester @DiamondBusNW @gnwbus are on diversion. #TfGMTraffic."
