Residents are being told to keep their windows and doors closed as fire crews tackle a large blaze at an industrial unit in Altrincham.
The fire has broken out on Craven Road and six engines are currently on the scene. Road closures have been put in place and motorists have been told to avoid the area.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue tweeted: "Six fire engines are currently at the scene of a fire at a commercial premises on Craven Road, Altrincham. Residents nearby are advised to keep their windows and doors closed. Road closures are also in place, so please avoid the area if possible."
