LIVE: Police cordon in place after blaze at fire shop near Heaton Park - updates

Firefighters have cordoned off a shop on Bury Old Road in Prestwich after a blaze.

Dramatic images from the scene show the Fireplace shop on Bury Old Road significantly damaged and behind a cordon. Police are also at the scene, which is near Heaton Park.

The Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service have been approached for more information.
