LIVE Passengers describe chaos at Manchester Victoria station as platform becomes 'dangerously' overcrowded - updates
Parts of Manchester Victoria railway station have become 'dangerously' overcrowded this evening, according to travellers.
Pictures show huge crowds on platform four and five this evening, with passengers reportedly 'unable to move' or use the stairs.
Travellers have taken to social media over the chaotic scenes, as one person wrote: "Some very difficult and crowded conditions at Manchester Victoria right now."

Another said: "Very dangerous overcrowding on platforms 4 and 5 at Manchester Victoria. People unable to ascend or descend the stairs or move on the platform."
Northern have been approached for comment on the incident. There are however currently no delays reported to trains at the station.
