LIVE: M60 and M62 hit by long queues with lanes closed
Motorists are facing long queues on two Greater Manchester motorways after a lorry broke down.
Two lanes of traffic have been closed on the M60 anticlockwise between junctions 17 at Prestwich and 16 at Clifton this afternoon (August 7).
Drivers are facing 'slow traffic' through the area, according to the Inrix traffic monitoring service.
Google data shows long queues approaching the scene, tailing back past Birch services on the M62 westbound, near to junction 19 at Heywood.

There are also queues at Simister Island for traffic joining the M60 anticlockwise, from both the M66 and the M60 near Heaton Park.
Queues also appear to be building up on the clockwise carriageway close to the scene.
