LIVE: Huge police presence as road taped off amid reports of 'loud bang'
A road has been closed off amid reports of a 'loud bang'.
Eliza Street, in Hulme, has been taped off at the junction with Royce Road this morning (Monday, February 7).
A large police presence has been spotted on the street, as well as forensic officers and a tactical aid unit.

One resident living near to the scene reported hearing a 'loud bang' at about 3am.
The nature of the incident is not yet clear.
Greater Manchester Police has been approached for further information.
