LIVE: Huge emergency services scene reported at Salford Quays - latest updates
A huge emergency services presence has been reported at Salford Quays this morning.
Images from the scene show several fire engines, police cars and ambulances at the scene, near to the Salford Quays Metrolink stop.
Eyewitness have reported seeing a large number of emergency services vehicles descend on an area at about 11am.

The nature of the incident is not yet known.
Greater Manchester Police and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service have been approached for more information.

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service has issued the following statement on this morning's incident:
Just after 11am this morning, North West Ambulance Service requested our support at a water rescue incident in Salford Quays.
