LIVE: Greater Manchester murder probe continues at scene after man, 21, killed and boy arrested - updates

A murder investigation is underway after a 21-year-old man was killed in Trafford.

Officers were called to a 'disturbance' at a house on Kings Road in Old Trafford at around 7.45pm last night (Wednesday). A 21-year-old was sadly pronounced dead at the scene after suffering serious injuries.

An investigation was launched and a 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder. A 16-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in the nearby area.

Last night, they both remained in custody for questioning. Patrols were stepped up in the area.

This morning, a cordon remains in place around a row of terraced houses on Kings Road. At least two police cars remain on the scene.
