LIVE: Fans scramble to get Beyoncé pre-sale tickets in Cardiff following O2 Priority chaos

Beyoncé is coming to Wales as part of her Renaissance world tour. Queen Bey will be doing a huge show at Cardiff's Principality Stadium this spring and fans have a chance to get early access to tickets today.

Demand is huge to see the global superstar who will be performing in Cardiff on Wednesday, May 17 this year, so much so that the O2 Priority serve has crashed this morning. O2 and Virgin Media have been forced to respond as the app and desktop sites for Priority access have been down for many fans since before 10am this morning.

This is because fans can get early access to tickets for UK shows from 10am on Ticketmaster today via O2 Priority today.

A Virgin Media O2 spokesperson said: “We apologise to customers who are experiencing difficulties trying to get Beyonce tickets through our Priority platform today. We’re seeing huge demand and we’re doing everything we can to get the platform back up and running as soon as possible.”

Those who are on the O2 mobile network and have access to O2 Priority, or know someone who does, will be able to purchase tickets early from 10am today (February 2) via Ticketmaster. Fans must ensure they are logged into the O2 Priority app or desktop site and that their account details are up to date, as this will make the process quicker once virtual queues open.

Once logged in, O2 will open their Priority waiting rooms 15 minutes before the pre-sale time, so at 9.45am today. Once the waiting rooms are live, O2 will transfer fans to the Ticketmaster website so it's also a good idea to make sure you have a Ticketmaster account registered, you are logged in and your details are up to date.
