LIVE: Delays on Greater Manchester roads and public transport as heavy rain causes flooding - traffic updates
There are delays on the roads and on public transport in Greater Manchester this morning due to flooding and heavy rain.
Stagecoach has warned of 'major delays' across the bus network due to flooding on local roads. The M60 is also extremely busy with people driving cautiously in the heavy rain.
According to traffic alert service Inrix, some roads in Prestwich, Pendlebury and Bury have been left flooded. Sheepfoot Lane in Prestwich is currently impassable both ways due to flooding at Park Road.

In Pendlebury, Agecroft Road in both directions is just passable due to flooding at Lumns Lane. In Bury, Pilsworth Road has also been left partially flooded.
A tweet posted by Stagecoach said: "Major Delays. Please be aware that there are major delays across the network this morning.
"There is flooding on some roads and the train strike had forced more vehicles on the roads. We are aware that many of our services are running extremely late because of this."
