LIVE as main road blocked after car smashes into bridge
A major Manchester road is blocked this morning after a car ploughed into a bridge.
The B5093 Albert Road in Levenshulme is currently blocked in both directions between Marshall Road and the A6 Stockport Road following the collision, which is understood to have taken place at around 10:15am on Monday (March 10).
Traffic is slow in the area as emergency services work to clear the scene.
It is not yet clear whether anyone was injured in the incident.

Albert Road has now been cleared following the earlier collision.
