Lisandro Martinez confirms Donny van de Beek conversation about Manchester United transfer

Lisandro Martinez has revealed that he discussed his move to Manchester United with Donny van de Beek to learn about the city.

A few weeks on from agreeing a £46.8 million, rising to £55.3m, deal with Ajax, United officially confirmed Martinez as their third summer signing on Wednesday. He follows Tyrell Malacia and Christian Eriksen to Old Trafford in a move that sees Erik ten Hag strengthen his defensive options.

Martinez partnered with Raphael Varane in defence as United ran out 4-1 winners.
