Liam Gallagher makes first public appearance since backlash of Anthony Joshua fight performance

Liam Gallagher has been spotted for the first time since he publicly responded to negative comments about his performance at the Anthony Joshua fight.

The Oasis superstar faced criticism after appearing during the Riyadh Season Card event between the Watford boxer and Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium in London last month for a performance of some of the band’s biggest hits.

Performing the likes of Rock 'n' Roll Star, Supersonic and Cigarettes and Alcohol, people took to social media following Liam’s interval show to share their opinions which featured comments that it was 'a bit ****' and 'painful'.

In an X-rated message, the 52-year-old responded to fans who said they were considering selling their tickets to the big 2025 reunion shows next year. He said: "To all those S*** C**** who were crying about my ANGELIC TONES last night you ain't real fans you're just IMPOSTERS.”

He added: “If you do have tickets you wanna get rid of I'll gladly take them off your hands, we don't want the likes of you at our concerts next year anyway L******G."

Pictured for the first time since the response to the performance, Liam has been spotted walking his dog Buttons in Gloucestershire in an oversized navy blue raincoat. The dog was rescued from Thailand charity Happy Doggo last year and Liam has been seen pictured with her on a number of occasions since.

On Thursday night (October 3), pre-sale tickets for Oasis’ series of shows in North America next August and September were made available as part of a special ballot pre-sale. The nine shows include dates in Toronto, New Jersey and Los Angeles.
