Liam Gallagher is 'living like a monk' in £16,000-a-month Victorian mansion

Liam Gallagher has been spotted on a stroll in the Cotswolds after moving into a huge £16,000-a-month Victorian mansion. He has said he is living 'like a monk' in the lead-up to his next tour.

The ex-Oasis star moved into the £16,950 a month house near Stroud in April with his fiancee Debbie Gwyther. Set over 16,000 sq ft, it has 11 bedrooms, 2.5 acres of garden, as well as a gym, meditation room, sauna, cinema room and a wine cellar.

Locals say the singer has been trying to keep a low profile but has been the 'talk of the town'. In photos snapped for The Sun, Liam can be seen in a long black coat, with his hood up, a balaclava and even dark, black goggles on while walking his dog Buttons.

An onlooker told the newspaper: "It looked as though Liam was doing his best to not be recognised. Locals have been shocked to see him in the area and it's the talk of the town."

The singer's move to the rented property comes after he was spotted viewing another £3.5million townhouse in the Cotswolds. He also has a home in North London and a mansion in France. He's currently gearing up to go on his 12-date Definitely Maybe tour next month, 30 years after the release of Oasis' album by the same name.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), a fan asked if Liam would be watching Manchester City play rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup final from Wembley Stadium later this month. Replying, Liam said he wouldn't be as he planned to live "like a monk".

He said: "I'm not as I'll be bang in rehearsals for DM so I'll be living like a monk and looking like a s***k".
