Lewis Hamilton & Max Verstappen's stats after 150 races in Formula 1 have been compared

It was a better weekend for Mercedes this time around with Lewis Hamilton getting just his second podium of the season in Montreal.

That being said, the man from Stevenage is still way off from what we have come to expect from him, following those seven world titles and years of dominance.

Max Verstappen has taken on the role as the man to beat, with the Dutchman also having just hit the 150-race mark.

As a result, there have been statistic comparisons of both Verstappen and Hamilton, as well as a number of other famous names in the sport through history.

Starting first with the two current protagonists and Verstappen reached this landmark at a much younger age.

Youth isn’t the be-all and end-all, though, as everything else favours the Brit.

He was six years older when he completed his 150th race and trumps his Dutch counterpart in every area.

The standout number is that Hamilton has one more title to his name, but he also boasts eight more wins, 25 more poles and five more podiums. To finish it off, he has had the fastest lap three more times and has finished nine more races.

Moving onto some of the other names and along with the aforementioned duo, Sebastian Vettel, Michael Schumacher and Ayrton Senna have a record to their name also.

Starting with the German, who is currently driving for Aston Martin alongside Lance Stroll. Vettel leads the way in what is surely the most important one of them, world championships, with four to his name.

Next to Schumacher, and he has the most race wins, the most podiums and the most fastest laps. Senna, meanwhile, is at the fore when it comes to pole positions – he had a remarkable 61 poles, but was only able to convert 39 of those into wins, eight less than Schumacher.
