Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville and Liverpool icon Jamie Carragher clashed live on Sky Sports after the Reds' disappointing defeat to Manchester City at Old Trafford.

The two pundits were in the studio at full-time after witnessing Erik ten Hag's team be comfortably defeated by Pep Guardiola's side on Sunday. Erling Haaland gave the visitors a slender advantage at the break when he converted from the spot on 26 minutes.

After the interval, City put their foot down and added a second thanks to a Haaland header at the back post. Phil Foden finished the contest with 10 minutes remaining when he converted the Norwegian talisman's cross to seal the bragging rights.
