Leinster's Doris returns at openside with Van der Flier ruled out for Leicester clash

Caelan Doris has been named at openside flanker in place of the injured Josh van der Flier for Leinster's Heineken Champions Cup clash with Leicester tomorrow night.

World player of the year Van der Flier misses out with an ankle injury suffered in last weekend's win over Ulster, while fellow Ireland back row Doris returns in the seven shirt after missing the last two Leinster games through injury.

Elsewhere, as expected, Garry Ringrose returns at second centre with Jimmy O'Brien moving to the wing in place of Jordan Larmour, while the rest of the side remains unchanged.

Hugo Keenan starts at full-back, with James Lowe named on the left wing.

Ringrose and Robbie Henshaw form the centre partnership for the first time since October’s win over Munster, with Ross Byrne and Jamison Gibson-Park completing the back line.

Andrew Porter, Dan Sheehan and Tadhg Furlong make up the front row for the second week running.

James Ryan captains the team and is partnered in the second row by Ross Molony.

Doris is joined by Ryan Baird and Jack Conan, with Baird set to win his 50th Leinster cap.

On the bench, there are no changes from last Saturday’s win over Ulster.

Leinster: Hugo Keenan; Jimmy O'Brien, Garry Ringrose, Robbie Henshaw, James Lowe; Ross Byrne, Jamison Gibson-Park; Andrew Porter, Dan Sheehan, Tadhg Furlong; Ross Molony, James Ryan (capt); Ryan Baird, Caelan Doris, Jack Conan.

Replacements: John McKee, Cian Healy, Michael Ala'alatoa, Jason Jenkins, Scott Penny, Luke McGrath, Harry Byrne, Ciarán Frawley.
