Leicester City Women – everything you need to know about where they play, fixtures and how to get tickets
England's success at the Euros has sparked renewed interest in the Women's Super League. Leicester City Women are seen as one of the competition's up-and-coming teams.
LCFC Women turned professional in 2020, winning the FA Women’s Championship and avoiding relegation from the WSL in the space of 18 months. Excitement is now building ahead of the new WSL campaign, with the King Power Stadium the backdrop to what promises to be a big season for Lydia Bedford’s side.
The season begins on Sunday, September 11, when the team face Everton away. Season tickets are on sale, costing £42 for adults and £31.50 for over-65s and under-18s.
The King Power Stadium is currently scheduled to host all home league fixtures for LCFC Women. The stadium address is Filbert Way, Leicester LE2 7FL.
It is easy to get to the stadium, with good rail, bus and motorway links. The stadium capacity is 32,312.
The best place to get tickets is the LCFC official website tickets page. Mobile Tickets will be the default entry method for the 2022/23 season.
The team had one of the highest average home attendances of the WSL in 2021/22. The first home game of the new season sees LCFC women take on Tottenham on Sunday, September 18 at the King Power.
Individual match tickets cost £8 for adults and £4 for over-65s and under-18s, with accompanied under-8s attending free. Tickets for individual matches will go on sale soon.
