Leicester City transfer chiefs should notice Brendan Rodgers' subtle hint

PSV winger Noni Madueke has an opportunity to show what he is capable of at the King Power Stadium tonight.

The England Under-21 international has been linked to a whole host of Premier League clubs, including Leicester City. He has bags of potential and has been in fine form this season

Madueke has made 14 goal contributions in 30 games across all competitions this season, and with City keen to recruit a new winger this summer, he has certainly caught Brendan Rodgers' eye. The winger has been linked to the Foxes since last summer, and 12 months on, Leicester could make their move.

That's after Rodgers complimented the winger in his pre-match press conference and is clearly a big fan of the 20-year-old. The City boss said: "He’s done really well.

"He came through the system over here but clearly felt he wanted to play first-team football and maybe there was that opportunity abroad. You’ve seen other young players do that, going into Germany and into Holland.

"He’s a talented player, he’s physically very good, he’s got a nice left foot, he’s dynamic, he wants to run in behind, so he’s a threat. I know he plays with Luke (Thomas) in the Under-21s. He’ll be a threat I’m sure."

Leicester will be wary of his threat this evening as he is likely to line up on the right wing for Roger Schmidt's PSV. Madueke has scored 18 goals and assisted 13 in 66 games for PSV, since he joined the club from Tottenham Hotspur's youth team in 2018.
