Leicester City team news v Chelsea: Youri Tielemans and James Justin miss out amid four changes

Youri Tielemans and James Justin both miss out for Leicester City as Brendan Rodgers opts for a back three at Chelsea.

Tielemans was involved in a clash of knees at Watford and was declared a doubt for the game at Stamford Bridge, the Belgian not recovering in time to feature. Justin was not mentioned in Rodgers’ injury round-up, but did have a heavy landing on his recently-dislocated shoulder at the weekend.

The pair are among four players to drop out from the team that won at Vicarage Road, with goalkeeper Danny Ward and winger Harvey Barnes both moving to the bench. Coming into the side are Kasper Schmeichel, Daniel Amartey, Luke Thomas, and Kelechi Iheanacho.

It looks like City will go for a back three, matching Chelsea up. Amartey joins Wesley Fofana and Jonny Evans in the defence, while Thomas will play as the left-sided wing-back, with Timothy Castagne on the opposite flank.

In midfield, Papy Mendy has recovered from illness to keep his place, and he will be partnered by Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. James Maddison is likely to play further forward, in the number 10 position, with Iheanacho forming a strike partnership with Jamie Vardy.

The bench includes Ricardo Pereira, who had previously been ruled out for the season with hamstring trouble, and Hamza Choudhury, who Rodgers said had a groin tear. There are also plenty of attacking options, including Ademola Lookman and Patson Daka.
