Legendary nightspot Brasingamens is coming back - for a reunion brunch bash

Legendary Cheshire nightclub Brasingamens is coming back to life - for a reunion event hosted by the venue's former manager.

The Braz brunch bash will see former staff and revellers reunite, with original menus from back in 2004, and a music playlist to match those heady days of the Alderley Edge celeb haunt too.

Former manager Scott Hannah decided to organise the event after a nostalgia feature about the original venue, formerly based on London Road, was published here on the MEN - and everyone started messaging him saying they wanted the Braz back.

Brasingamens was Cheshire's most famous nightspot back in the late 90s and early noughties, playing host to WAG fashion shows, footballer stag dos and the fizz-fuelled celebrations of the rich and famous in the area.

The day-to-night event will see Scott and friends "recreating The Braz" with live acoustic music, canapes like thai fishcakes and mini avo smash, and the venue's signature cocktails from back in the day.

Guests will start the day with brunch in "The Braz" from 3pm, before the venue opens out into the "Brasingamens" club element from 6.30pm to 10pm with the style of their famous Sunday-night Sintillate events with R 'n' B noughties classics.

Scott has even found an old DVD of a footballer and WAG fashion show from back in
