Legendary Manchester restaurant named one of the best in the country at English Curry Awards

The best curry houses across the UK have been honoured at the 2023 English Curry Awards. The awards were handed out at the Holiday Inn in Birmingham City Centre last night, with a host of restaurants in the North West picking up gongs.

Winners of the awards, which ‘celebrates the talents and hard work of individuals and businesses within the English curry industry’, are decided by the general public, with the ceremony in its 12th year. The awards recognise excellence in a range of categories, including Chef of the Year, Voter’s Best Choice Restaurant of the Year, Curry King or Queen and Curry Restaurant of the Year.

Indian and Nepalese restaurant The Original Third Eye on Wilmslow Road in Didsbury Village took home the Best of Manchester award beating the likes of Indian Tiffin Room, Kabana, Asha’s Restaurant, Delhi House Café, and Dhoom Dhaam.
