Erik ten Hag may have transfer plan to counter Manchester United 'worry' after Wolves win

Erik Ten Hag’s Manchester United defeated Wolves 1-0 in their opening game on Monday night.

The performance was far from convincing with the visitors being the more threatening side. Wolves had 23 shots in the game, the most a team has had at Old Trafford in the Premier League since 2005.

Gary O’Neil’s Wolves were brave in the press and caused a threat with the counter runs of Pedro Neto and Matheus Cunha. United fans will be concerned about the number of attacks Wolves were able to produce.

Amrabat would bring a different profile to the Manchester United midfield. With a brilliant range of passing and his ability to cover ground to disrupt play and overturn possession. This would help Ten Hag’s midfield become more solid in games where it appears Casemiro could be overrun.
